Pros

Great colleagues, hybrid/flexible working environment, nice office in Gastown near to skytrain with snacks/drinks etc. Opportunities for travel depending on your role. Quarterly awards and recognition. If you have a suggestion or idea you are often welcome to voice it and try it out, at least on a small scale. Clients are generally friendly and easy to work with and expect responses within reasonable working hours (not over weekends etc). (Sales are more flexible to help close.) We have a 24/7 support team to deal with enquiries out of hours normally. The product is easy to use and is continuously developing. The Dev team work really hard to push new features out regularly so the product is constantly being improved. Quarterly socials are organised - past ones have included a Boat Party for Christmas, Cooking Classes, Escape Rooms, Nice drinks & dinners, Rec Room, Baseball games, Golf Simulator etc. Teams often organise their own smaller socials too.

Cons

With the team (and clients) being international there is sometimes the need to start working early/late but normally employees have the autonomy to balance out their hours after. There is a decent gap between individual contributors and management as there is not a lot of middle management. Sales cycles are relatively long so it can take some time to see the benefits of that labour.

Pros

They helped me get started with my career and quickly gave me a senior title.

Cons

I don't know because I was a freelancer, but as a freelancer they were great to work with.

Pros

Relaxed environment, with a good product.

Cons

Absolutely no leadership or upper level management. No accountability to any processes, procedures or goals and a lack of training on onboarding.
