Pros

- I had a strategic position and the team I worked with was great: eager to learn, proactive, knowledgeable. - The work was great, challenging and fulfilling - Recognizable brand, which does bring some perks - There definitely are some great people working for Cominar - Never had a problem with pays

Cons

- Serious Lack of listening from the bosses (directors, etc.) - Complete lack of skills, experience and vision from the bosses - Bad and unchecked decisions from the bosses hurt the department - Lack of respect towards employees and their jobs - Unreasonable demands and unsustainable pressure - Although Cominar says work-life balance is important, abusive methods are in place to make people work unpaid hours - HR department is unaware/not listening/could not care less/can't do anything - High employee turnover rate, loosing good and experienced employees, leaving only the most inexperienced employees accepting an abusive environment

Pros

- It was a good place to start my career. The team I was working with was great, but it wasn't like this for every department. I am still friends with some of them. -overtime could be banked in hours to have some days off

Cons

- little to no opportunity to rise in the company - HR have their nose everywhere and think they are kings/queens. Some of them are prone to tantrums even though they are grown ups - salary is pretty low compared to other places - no wonder the place was revolving door concerning employee arrival and departures. I know because I was the one creating the user accounts, preparing the computers for a while... It was ridiculous. I remember there was a single job position that had 10 different employees in one year...
