Pros

I really liked working with my clients. I enjoyed the time I spent with them. That was the best part of my job. I was really excited when I started working there. I thought the communication with the manager and the girls in the office was pretty awesome but I was wrong.

Cons

Nothing but disappointment. I was expected to drive 148 miles round trip for 5 hours of work. The communication with the girls was ridiculous. I tried to explain how I felt regaurding a clients family member and how I knew I was going to go in there and have her be disrespectful towards me and I was basically told I had to deal with it. They don't listen to what you have to say its almost like it goes in one ear and out the other. They tell you when they hire you that they are here to support their caregivers 100% I didn't feel any support what so ever. Mileage reimbursement was a joke. If their going to make you drive that far they should pay out more than what they do. I think its more about the money than the safety of the clients.

Pros

Great pay and benefit opportunities. The message of the company is good and the owners are incredibly welcoming. They provided all the equipment and were quick to get you whatever you needed.

Cons

The office environment was extremely toxic. It was very "cliche" with everyone saying awful things about each other. Yelling, slamming and throwing things was a regular occurrence. The lack of empathy towards the clients as well as caregivers was abhorrent. The training was lackluster with the view of corrective action instead of preventive action with mistakes. I was constantly ignored or snapped at when asking questions. After spending a day training at another office, I fully believe the toxicity is centered around this one office in particular and does not translate over to the other offices.
