Pros

High pay. Weekly overtime likely. Paid holidays from day one. 6 weeks paid training. Breakfast, lunch and Starbucks available to purchase without having to leave the complex. Food (usually pizza) provided with mandatory overtime shifts. Half hour lunches.

Cons

Union pay means union dues. During bad weather or when there are services outages overtime is mandatory. 70% of customer calls are from unhappy customers. Call quality is strictly monitored using overseas (English as 2nd language) monitors. Job satisfaction (beyond pay) is low. Perfect call quality and schedule adherence is heavily emphasized without any real incentives for meeting these expectations. Managers are rarely available for escalations or assistance. The rules or expectations are constantly changing which creates a stressful work environment

Pros

Stable work and lots of areas to make an impact. They are always trying to hire their contractors. If you are looking for a stable career, energy is the way to go. The pay is mid but solid.

Cons

Heavy work load, early start times, and company is trying to regress from the hybrid model to a full in person. The pay is mid but solid.
