Pros

In the US, most roles are remote/ hybrid, with no plans to change. ComAp really tries to do the right things. They are super flexible and reasonable, all they ask is the same in return. The team is amazing. Extremely supportive, not a lot of politics. Some of the best technical team in the industry, and overall just nice people to work with! The benefits are way above other companies (specifically with health insurance) and 4 weeks PTO. They actually expect you to take the your time off too!! We get a lot of independence in our work, usually interesting and challenging projects. It's also a plus to work at a company with a focus on renewable energy!

Cons

The company is growing. It's at a nice place now that you don't feel like a number, but as we grow, I hope that doesn't change. This type of culture will be hard to maintain in a big company. Pay could be better for some roles.

Pros

I worked in the North American office and the culture was pretty good, benefits were excellent - four weeks of vacation!, good opportunity to really wrap your arms around your job and make it your own. Communication is on the rise which is a good thing when most of the America's team is remote and leadership is in the Czech Republic. If you like variety in your job, this is the place - as a small office, there are many opportunities to cross train. Very team oriented culture, and the people are great. New President and new CEO are really making some strides forward, regardless of the tough business climate.

Cons

With corporate offices in Prague, not much room for advancement if you're not in the Czech Republic; salary for my position was on the very low end of the range, but to be fair, most roles were very competitive salary-wise.
