Pros

Supportive and collaborative team culture Strong emphasis on work-life balance and mental wellness Opportunities to lead complex SQL Server projects (Always On, HA/DR, performance tuning) Transparent leadership with clear goals and regular feedback Encouragement for certifications and professional development (e.g., Azure, AWS) Modern tech stack with a focus on automation, monitoring, and cloud readiness

Cons

High-paced environment may be challenging for those new to enterprise-level database environments Occasional after-hours support required during maintenance windows (but compensated fairly)

Pros

Excellent benefits, remote hybrid work, training.

Cons

It is a difficult job. On phones all day and requires unnecessary completion of "training videos" that did not have anything to do with the job.

Pros

The only pro I can think of is pay.

Cons

Everything else, especially the management and the HR. HR here is a joke! They wont properly investigate issues and will never support you unless you’re a manager in which case they will bend over backwards for you, cause the assumption is that management is ALWAYS right even with very little to no real proof. You’ll get burnt out very quickly here because there is a TON to do with no support, and you won’t be thanked for your hard work. Management, however, is quick to point out if you make any errors. There is favoritsm and discrimination so don’t expect to be treated like others in your team and do mn’t expect the HR to do something about it. Just don’t work here. It’s not worth the money or your time.
