Pros

Work-life Balance: This might be the only pro for this company. This is also why many very old employees are willing to stay here doing the same work for low pay.

Cons

Industry: The ostomy care, continence care, and wound care areas are low-margin / low-innovation sunset areas. This company wanted to expand its business lines to more value-added product territories. Still, they don't have good R&D capability, business scale, or cash reserve to make real, meaningful acquisitions. Benefits: This company is highly focused on shareholder interests, so employee benefits are often at stake. For example, they put a very high bar on bonus distribution, and the budget-level bonus is rarely distributed. In 2022, a large market's sales achievement was ~90%, but the company only gave 50% of the annual bonus to the employees of this market. Career development: any dream of developing your career in this company is luxurious. They only hire you to take advantage of your specialty, and once they find you are not very useful for the moment, they will kick you out with no mercy. They used to have a not-very-well-designed graduate management trainee program, and they canceled it because they believed the cost was more important. One last suggestion: don't trust what HR tells when you sign your employment contract and don't believe your package$ on your offer letter; you'll never get those amount.

Pros

They don’t micromanage, supervisors are always willing to help.

Cons

QA is an absolute mess, and they refuse to see the issue which affects everyone’s monthly bonus. If you value your mental health don’t work here, they will constantly talk to you about your “brand” or how you are being perceived if you speak up too much for their taste. They will ask for feedback but never address any issues. Your confidence will be tarnish when you work your butt off and your QA scores are always low, even people that are top tier and leaders within the dept can’t even get decent scores. Unless you are able to be hired by another dept, which that in itself is hard, you have nowhere to go, basically they “promote” you by doing the same job with more pay that comes with extra set of responsibilities while also having to meet your metrics because if not, no bonus.
