Pros

Management is understanding and responsive Doctors are kind and do great work Independent network of physicians instead of a huge health organization Can get a free colonoscopy Can see physicians in network for free or low cost Like to promote within and develop career growth Hires a very diverse staff, and is committed to being accessible to diverse population with translators LGBTQ+ friendly

Cons

Health insurance is low cost but very limited network. Hardly any mental health professionals in network. Retirement benefits are not desirable. Half hour vs hour break Pay is not very competitive Not a lot of PTO, average amount. No sick days. Unpaid time off not allowed.

Pros

Speaking for the St. Paul clinic, all of the doctors and PAs are incredible to work with. I have nothing but good things to say about all of them. They're helpful, patient-oriented, and knowledgeable, and great advocates for their support staff. They are the ONLY reason I worked here as long as I did. The vast majority of the support staff here was great to work with as well. If you are looking for a short-term place to work before PA or medical school, this would be a great place to work - the providers here are amazing and will teach you SO much.

Cons

The positives were not enough to compensate for the absolutely terrible management here, at both local and upper levels. The company struggles to retain support staff with a high turnover rate, and the management is why. The company and managers try to sell how "healthy" the workplace is, when in reality it's toxic, bursting at the seams with two-sidedness, blatant favoritism, a complete lack of positive feedback, and SEVERE micromanagement. Hard work, while always noticed by peers/support staff and doctors/PAs, is overlooked and ignored by the managers. If you do something right 10,000 times but make a tiny mistake once, expect to get an extremely petty "friendly reminder" email of the mistake you made. If you are a very hard worker, expect to be doing not only your work, but the work of the others in the clinic who are the managers' favorites who like to sit around and talk instead of working. If you're looking for a long-term position or career, I highly recommend you look elsewhere. You will not be appreciated here.
