Your Forever Company - Senior Project Manager Colliers Engineering & Design Employee Review

Pros

Great leadership, exceptional benefits, focus is placed on the individual, and team atmosphere, where hard work and effort is not only shown with great appreciated and gratitude, but also reciprocated financially and through career advancement. Emphasis is placed on improving 1% every day, through training and investment in equipment. You matter here and are not just a number. You work hard here and you will be rewarded.

Cons

With a busy company that is relied upon by a diverse set of clients, comes a lot of work, which requires time and effort to complete. Because of Colliers reputation, the work appears to keep coming. I don't necessarily see this as a con, but more so due to impact of lack of available talent in the marketplace.

Pros

Flexible schedule & ability to work remote or hybrid

Cons

The company does not communicate effectively among all staff. Upper management treats as-needed staff like they are trash and they don't take time to understand the discipline that they are in charge of. When the department is understaffed, the employees are told to just "work harder" instead of hiring more people. They interview people, make them believe they have a shot, then the managers ghosts them. Even though they label themselves as having "competitive" salaries, they pay less than some smaller companies. Large bonuses only go to managers after their staff does all the hard work. Regular staff gets small bonuses and baby raises each year. A lot of people resign after they refuse to do bigger raises because they can get hired for a lot more at other companies. Upper management also ignores all communication from regular staff. There are no repercussions to Upper management when there are HR complaints about them. Advancement in the company is super slow.
