Pros

Great service for the "right" families. Staff really cares about clients. More prospects than sales people. Sales Manager is great but doesn't have the ability to change things quickly.

Cons

Owners are out of touch with reality of day-to-day happenings. Prospects don't show up for appointments.

Pros

I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to work at CPN. This is a workplace where morale is high and the work we do is rewarding. Management is incredibly respectful of employees and their needs.

Cons

Because the college admissions & financial aid process is so cyclical, you need to be prepared to be busier at certain times of year. This offers the opportunity to tackle projects and new initiatives in the less-busy seasons.

Pros

College Planning Network has provided the best work environment that I have had the pleasure of enjoying in my career and it is a wonderful place for the driven worker. Leads are provided by the company and it is easy to believe in what you are selling due to the quality of the work from top to bottom at the company. Flexible work schedule though during the busy season hours can be very long but it is also a terrific opportunity to earn. Since leads are provided, those that generate their own leads are rewarded very well which is pretty neat since prospecting is typically the hardest part of the sales cycle.

Cons

The fact that leads are provided allows some people to feel as though that they can work from home or not put forth a full work week to succeed and that is not the case at CPN. Those that work hard to learn the business and put in overtime during the busy season will not only achieve tremendous success financially but will feel rewarded at all the families that they can help. Those that feel entitled to leads overtime and do not work to earn leads may not be a fit for CPN
