Pros

Good benefits Coworkers that are highly intelligent and driven

Cons

Upper management has no real grip on what this company is or where their priorities lie. They preach that they are employee driven and here to change the face of healthcare, but they treat their employees disrespectfully and make empty promises that they do not follow through on. Their COO Roy Gilbert is especially notorious for permanently damaging the culture and space of this operations organization within this company. They make empty promises then force life changing decisions on employees with no notice. They claim they are here to change the face of healthcare when in reality they are just another TPA focused on tapping into the healthcare market.

Pros

Good benefits, especially health insurance. Some very intelligent people. Company mission is great.

Cons

Untrustworthy leadership that makes reactive choices and publicly badmouths their subordinates to other subordinates. Politics are HUGE here. I have quite literally heard of leadership making decisions on firing people simply because they don't "like them". I genuinely didn't know people behaved like this outside of those outlandish tv shows and movies where people have no tact and are completely unprofessional. Yelling and pointing fingers is normal when it comes to escalated matters, and working over 40 hours is not only typical, but expected. Weekends are not off limits either, and we get fake commended for our hard work and dedication, when really we would have just been reprimanded if we protested on constantly working outside of the 9-5. I have witnessed employees crying from different departments and levels; managers too.
