Pros
I had the chance to attend all events with Colette and her team as well as had the opportunity to sit in on meetings and interviews. Both Colette and her assistant, April, always created a welcoming vibe and were understandable during the busy school year. I had the chance to update all social media accounts, write press releases, media listings, calendar listings and was able to help assist in the planning of events. Most internships don't let new interns be so involved but this was not the case at CPC Global. Everyone was always in a good mood and there was always something different and exciting to complete each day. No day was ever the same and I always felt as though I was necessary in the success of the company.
Cons
If there was one thing I could change it would be spending more time with Colette. I got to know my work colleagues very well but it would've been nice to know Colette on a more personal level. There was the occasional lunches where we all would each together but I felt as though I found out more about her during the intern farewell dinner then I did during the year.
