Pros

Good Brand Good Delivery Model Good Learning and training modules

Cons

Unstable policies and employee benefit programs - company policies are frequently changing that are mostly not favoring employees Unaccountable leadership and managers - They do what they wish and deem correct without caring about the reportees. Most of them are unsatisfied for no apparent reason and think that caring about reportees aspiration or career growth is not something they are paid for. Higher leadership is kind of deaf to employees grievances and put up a mask in social gatherings or town hall, however they least care about employees . If your run into disagreement and need a change of project or role. Better change the company since unnecessarily your time will be wasted. Unnecessary bureaucracy and low flexibility - lot of unnecessary meetings and processes that leaves no time for training or attending any internal seminars Stressful - Lot of people seems quite stressful due to mismanagment of project leaders and poor set up of teams. Low respect of human values and quite visible lack of empathy and human relations, Biased behaviour, Favouritism and taking unfair advantage of a situation is quite prevalent and can be seen in few days of working in most of the projects

Pros

Cognizant can be a great place to work at. You have to be self-motivated and driven. You won't often be given a script on how to do your job well. But if you are willing to search for new opportunities, you will find success.

Cons

Just like many other tech companies, layoffs are happening all the time. This often brings many projects to a complete halt. Management never communicates when someone is laid off. And when they are laid off, they often never back fill positions, leaving existing team members working the equivalent of three jobs at once. Most teams there are skeleton crews, ensuring that they cannot reach their full potential.
