Pros

Work for Cognizant if you're great at managing ambiguity and can navigate your way through a system based on exceptions rather than policy and supportive infrastructure. The best thing is that you can probably move around a little more easily than a company with a firm structure in place.

Cons

Since the company grew exponentially over the years, there is no infrastructure to illustrate career path, growth, or even accurate performance management. Expect little feedback on how you're doing until you get slapped with your evaluation at the end of the year.

Pros

It was a much needed check in a time of need

Cons

Management seemed uneducated. I dnt know about cognizant as a whole but their eligibility department needs help. They focus on the things that do no matter. They were at risk of losing this contract, so now it’s whatever they client says, they do…no push back including making us do disability cases, that we had no previous knowledge of. In the beginning I was getting OT like crazy. Then they stopped it talking about it wasn’t in there budget, and at times when we needed someone to work/stay late. They are not consistent and the other employees there, are looking for other positions, too. Not to mention, myself and another employee were the only ones there for the longest. It’s a mess.
