Pros

Generally, everything is good. Greate team, great managers, great teammates, good work life balance(hybrid - 2-3 days office a week). Learning wise also Udemy full access is there and the company provides vouchers for those AWS, GCP and Azure certification exam vouchers for free.

Cons

Salary is quite less and needs to be revised for the work done. Even after converting to Programmer Analyst after completing 1 year, it is quite less. During training, salary was even lesser, and is not sustainable. Training period was quite useless, They try to teach you a lots of technologies in a short period of time. In the end, employees only get a basic overview and need to learn again in detail after getting a project.

Pros

Cognizant can be a great place to work at. You have to be self-motivated and driven. You won't often be given a script on how to do your job well. But if you are willing to search for new opportunities, you will find success.

Cons

Just like many other tech companies, layoffs are happening all the time. This often brings many projects to a complete halt. Management never communicates when someone is laid off. And when they are laid off, they often never back fill positions, leaving existing team members working the equivalent of three jobs at once. Most teams there are skeleton crews, ensuring that they cannot reach their full potential.
