Pros

Some free breakfast and WFH is allow. Long working hours

Cons

It has been a challenging experience that taught me a lot about resilience and self-worth. However, I realised that a healthy work culture is about trust, respect, and meaningful collaboration — not micromanagement or superficial metrics. Unfortunately, I’ve seen situations where true leadership was missing and accountability was misplaced. It’s disappointing when teams are judged by numbers rather than by impact, and when systemic issues are blamed on individuals. I’m grateful for the lessons learned, but it’s time to move on to environments that value people, integrity, and real results. Cognizant is a Businesses that only focus on profits without valuing purpose as a result is a Company with a poor customer service and unhappy employees.

Pros

Cognizant can be a great place to work at. You have to be self-motivated and driven. You won't often be given a script on how to do your job well. But if you are willing to search for new opportunities, you will find success.

Cons

Just like many other tech companies, layoffs are happening all the time. This often brings many projects to a complete halt. Management never communicates when someone is laid off. And when they are laid off, they often never back fill positions, leaving existing team members working the equivalent of three jobs at once. Most teams there are skeleton crews, ensuring that they cannot reach their full potential.
