Pros
The money is good as well as the tightknit community of who you work with in the region. If you like travel, then its a lot of fun.
Cons
Many higher level people have been at cognex for a while and that results in lots of office politics and favortism, at least in my region. Sales cycle can be rather long even for smaller sized deals. Lots of engineering work as well, not preferable for someone from a business background. Not much room for career advancement
