Pros
The Middle school administrators are very supportive of the teachers. They have high expectations, and therefore run a very structured environment. Teachers are treated like family, and everyone steps up to be a team player.
Cons
The Special Education Department and it's leaders are not supportive of the sped teachers at all. I have been housed on the same hallway with them for 5 years now and never have they stepped in my classroom to show support. When help is needed, neither director can give an answer. It's a very big department in this county but when a teacher goes to them for help or needed supplies, we are told there's no money.
