Pros

A measly salary that I guess is good if you have no other options in life. You'd probably make more as a waiter.

Cons

This company isn't run by people it's run by monsters. Pervy old dudes who use their creepy male site to objectify women and lure them into the office. The President of the company had young women fly in from out of town for work only to have them stay at his apartment and berate them with insults (as he does with all of his employees). A more responsible employee had to step in and fit the bill for a hotel. The utter incompetence of the management is astounding. They fancy themselves an editorial company but don't believe social media is important! They don't believe SEO is real. They don't believe in strategy, health insurance, benefits, vision or even a SCHEDULE. These people shouldn't be in charge of running their own lives let alone a company. They regularly treat their employees like human garbage, berating them with insults and profanity like abusive parents. The President and CEO literally have no experience or qualifications to be running publications and are only in it, presumably because being in charge of people and doing stuff on the internet satiates their teeny, tiny, chode-boners. GOOD-BYE. GOOD RIDDANCE. There isn't a single person on the planet who doesn't deserves better than coed media group.

Pros

None. I signed on to be a freelance blogger and worked with someone remotely. He is only online until 5pm each day, and then dismissed me for taking too long to write my first post when he was only available certain hours of the day and said I could step out as I pleased and work anytime. He didn't understand the learning curve with formatting on a first post. They expect you to research, pitch content and then learn to use Wordpress in 3 hours on your first post if you DON'T have experience. He was rude and dismissive when I asked questions, said the hours were flexible and then accused me of taking too long to write my first post and fired me. He was the verbally abusive on Slack when I expressed my side of the story, insinuated I don't know Wordpress (I've used it for several years) because I asked a few questions and told me to "learn to follow instructions." I hope people see this and do not waste their time for $10 like I did. Worst experience with a "publication" that I have ever had and I've been freelance writing for years. I also couldn't find them online to collect my minuscule payment for all of the hassle, so I was ripped off. I'd give -0 stars if I could.

Cons

Rude, dismissive, unnecessarily cutthroat for what you're being paid, lousy pay, unclear expectations. I really have nothing more to say other than that.
