Pros

- Engaged and talented team, wanting to work hard and accomplish big goals - Great product which is necessary to the industries we serve. Feels like we are actually making an impact to our customers - Big opportunity in front of us at Coast and high performers are given more responsibility and ownership. It's the type of company that could truly change the trajectory of your career - Transparent exec team that is in the weeds of the business and cares deeply about our customers

Cons

- A lot of moving pieces, sometimes the company has competing priorities and unclear areas of focus

Pros

Coast sits at a genuinely exciting intersection (i.e., fintech, and the trades) and the product problems here are as meaty and interesting as anywhere in the industry. The leadership team brings serious depth and experience, and it shows in how decisions get made: thoughtful, direct, and with real conviction. The people are sharp, collaborative, and actually care about doing great work. This is a place where you're building something that real businesses depend on every day. The pace is fast, the ambition is high, and the product roadmap is legitimately innovative.

Cons

Like any fast-growing startup, things change fast. If you need structure and predictability in every corner of your work, this might not be the environment for you. But if you're comfortable with some ambiguity and want the upside that comes with it, that's less a con and more just the deal.

Pros

Coast is building a product that solves for a real market need, and you can see and feel the impact we have on customers every day no matter what team you sit on. People here are smart and cool and fun and care about doing good work and cheering each other on, there's a sense of community and comradery thats genuine and for real (not forced or fake like other places I've worked) idk how they curate it but they do. People here rock. Leadership is also very accessible and transparent and down to earth. If you're down to move fast and be scrappy and work hard play hard this is a great environment. Plus, you get the perks of tech startup with less risk since the CEO is a previous founder who sold Bread for millions. fingers crossed. Oh also the stuff like unlimited PTO, free lunch, team bondings etc

Cons

You should be comfortable with some ambiguity and scrappyness that kind of comes with the startup territory. The benefit program here also isn't as robust as you might find going corporate. Workloads also very, at times it can feel like a lot at once but in my experience you're also able to be flexible during more steady times to make up for it
