Pros

Nice office. Resilient and capable operations staff

Cons

Too much “strategy” - no useful change. Top heavy management who are forced to toe the line from an overbearing “control from the top” CEO. Force staff to be “profiled” which leads to them being pigeonholed. Even worse…some have been forced out due to their profiles. Any “leaders” left there have just figured out how to keep their head low. Constant restructure.

Pros

None, unless you want to work in a psychologically unsafe workplace,

Cons

The most toxic work environment I've ever encountered in 20 years. I was relentlessly bullied for 18 months and reported it multiple times - they did nothing. I witnessed racism on more then one occasion. I heard sexist remarks daily. It got so bad in 2023 they had to send everyone to a lawyer's office for a sexual harrassment seminar. It did nothing. ELT and SLT do not care about any employees. They would send out culture surveys then blame us for the results. When the results got so bad they stopped sending them for a while. This doesn't even cover the work related issues, such as poor org decisions with little to no regard for how it affected frontline employees. Legal team was so useless they constantly misinterpreted legislation then would send corrections out YEARS later. HR are even worse. One of the most incompetent and immature I have ever had the displeasure of working with. They constantly gaslight anyone who reports unfair treatment and behaviour. They don't understand basic work rights and employees have started joining unions left and right because of poor treatment.

Pros

There are good people who work there. They stay to pay their bills. They are really great at their jobs but they don't stay because they get pushed out by people who are either threatened by them actually wanting to do work or are smarter than them.

Cons

Everything else. Inept Board & ELT, who are deeply inexperienced and won't admit it because they like cashing in their paychecks. ELT are just desperately waiting out for CEO roles and/or cushy board positions. The SLC are just as bad. 80% of them aren't experienced enough to be where they are. Just failed upwards and should not be managing anyone. The worst part is HR. They are a genuine risk to the organisation. They don't know HR legislation, they bully people with misinformation and then tell ELT they are people first. It's awful. I'm genuinely surprised there hasn't been a lawsuit.
