Pros

I’ve gotten paid well working for costar, but sometimes I feel I’m the exception and not the rule. The clients are great to work with and I’ve built great relationships here. Commercial real estate is an interesting field to learn about.

Cons

No clear direction from management on our comp plan (which changes yearly). No one knows how much we will be paid or how. Management says we are not doing a great job of maintaining high activity but also don’t provide any direction on what we should be working on. They keep hiring more sales people and giving them accounts I’ve sold. They hired a new sales team to sell directly over the existing sales force, which have built a reputation of talking badly about the existing sales force both internally and to clients. Toxic work environment, unresponsive managers, no clear direction.

Pros

I worked for Homes.com - Great first job out of college to learn a lot about sales and can make good money in the first 3 months - FIND PEOPLE THAT HAVE DONE THIS JOB AND HAVE LEFT AND FIGURE OUT WHY CUZ THEY'LL TELL YOU

Cons

I worked for Homes.com - You're doing 3 jobs in one and the pay does not reflect that - it is churn and burn. The average tenure here is 7 months - Management doesn't know what's going on 3/4 of the time. It is all up to the CEO and he's on his private jet more than 3/4 of the time
