Where can I start. Let's start with previous comments. A lot of people have said in the ONE good thing they mention is that there are a lot of young people at the company. That is not quite exactly a great thing. Several of the people CoStar hires have not had any previous employment. I am not pretentious nor judgmental of anyone, however its nearly insulting to my intelligence to have multiple college degrees and be in the same peer group as someone who maybe a high school graduate. This experience has cause me to re-evaluate my life and examine where I have failed.
Management seems to think negative reinforcement is the key to survival. I wish glassdoor would let us upload pix in our review so I could show you how nearly every single message in an average inbox is negative, what you didn't do right, what you did do wrong. Would it kill you guys to actually say something nice to somebody one time? Like for instance, "You did a nice job on the phones yesterday, keep up the great work! :-) " No. Never. Not in your dreams. Management hasn't realized basic human interaction, you attract more bees with honey than vinegar. Have a Coke and a smile guys. Furthermore, management wont even call you by your name and say hello, but they will tell you it's 3 minutes past the hour & tell you to get to work.
Don't come here if you have ever cared about being a team player or actually believing any of that Together Everyone Achieves More hogwash. You will learn very quickly they don't care, you don't count, nothing else matters but how much you're on the phone. There will never be a team building event, like so & so team meeting for drinks at one of the many watering establishments close by so people could actually learn their coworkers names.
There is a constant fear of who will be fired next in the office. There is no job security.
Training is an utter disaster. They show how much they dont care about you and your status at the company with this abysmal training.
