Pros
The pay and benefits and pay are unmatched.
Cons
I've been a top performer at the company for years. My issue isn't that the metrics are unattainable; it's that they don't make sense for the research role. The role is branded as research consultant but actually operates like a call center. The workload isn't difficult in terms of skill or complexity, just the expectations are unrealistic. There simply isn't enough time do the research that producing meaningful quality data actually requires. You end up spending your days trying to stretch conversations and hit arbitrary targets rather than producing genuinely useful insight. The nonsensical metrics, and ignored feedback leaves you feeling drained. And even embarrassed when talking to clients because the tools and process don't support the expertise the role is supposed to represent.
