Pros

The office is a relatively relaxed environment, including the option to wear jeans to work. Very little is required of employees, with much of the workday being devoted to non-work-related conversations among the various employees. Small perks are also available, such as free lunches if you come in during extreme weather like icy road conditions. If you fight hard enough, the company will pay for professional development (but be prepared to struggle to get to that point).

Cons

There is little motivation within the office and everyone acknowledges that the company pays its employees about 10% below the market average. Management is non-responsive and there is no effective method of dealing with problem employees; you are either told to work around them by assigning additional work to the competent employees or else they are just shuffled off to a different department. Interdepartmental rivalry between the various divisions is rampant and there is little cooperation between them, reducing overall company efficiency.
