Pros

Most of the colleagues are nice and willing to help and to provide a shoulder to cry on when you are in need. Good place to start from scratch and gain some experience in the industry and get a job at a larger, better paying CRO.

Cons

The company is trying to get as many clients and studies as possible and are willing to do almost anything to hold onto them. That includes working crazy hours to make sure the client is happy and that they will give Cmed more studies in the future. Which is really bad, as the client gets used to getting everything they want and only end up asking for more. The salary in Romania for DM is not competitive. Nowhere near what other companies offer. The annual pay raises are very small. Entry level position salaries have not encreased in several years. Chaotic is the best word to describe it, due to poor management from the CEO level down, due to the lack of experience in the industry and due to unwillingness to join other big CROs in the 21st Century. The company sticks to what they know and if they make any progress, it is usually one step forwards and two steps backwards.

The accompanying business transformation, involving a complete overhaul of processes to ensure operational efficiency and allow us to pass cost and time savings onto our customers, may be considered chaotic only if not properly understood.

Pros

Flexible work schedule. Not a lot to say besides that.

Cons

Unfortunately they don't seem to care about customer experience for previous employees. I am trying to get a Job certification for the last month via fax, email, mail with no luck. Apparently once you don't work there any longer they don't feel like they have a social responsibility with ex-employees.
