Pros
-I'm able to work when I want, where I want, without restriction. The focus is on delivering value and completing objectives, not how long you are sitting at your desk. -The culture is very relaxed, I work from my couch in my pajamas some days. -Remote forever company (We don't have an office) -Premium laptop options (Macbook Pro) -Unlimited vacation, taking 6 weeks won't raise any flags -Some positions make well above industry average pay. Offers from Microsoft and AWS were substantially less for me. -Other than updating Slack, I don't ask permission to do things like go to the doctor's office or run an errand. -You will get on the ground floor of a very unique and driven company. There is unlimited long-term growth opportunity. There are not currently any other companies that do everything we do. -You will have lots of autonomy in your role, no one is going to micro-manage you. This is a startup, so it's what you make of it. If you are a rockstar you will be noticed, and you will have a long career runway.
Cons
-Benefits are below the industry average, but average for a startup. They are working on additional benefits packages, so this is temporary.
