Pros

The office is in a nice location close to Victoria's Inner Harbour.

Cons

This company is a cubicle / call center environment with very little interaction among staff. They recruit sales people from stable jobs then don't offer adequate training on their software product. (You are expected to learn from watching videos of an old version of the software on Youtube channels.) The role is glamorized during the interview / hiring process and it is actually a phone rep sales job doing prospecting calls rather than account management of new accounts. It is a small office and your coworkers listen to all your calls for the 8 hours a day that you work. They also expect you to do all the reaching out to find answers to questions rather than helping you to be set up for success. The CEO is arrogant and not a good people manager.

Pros

Aside from the obvious excellent location downtown in Bastion Square, CloudPractice has a big list of Pros. Among the biggest is a friendly, casual environment. We do monthly fun team building events such as the VR arcade, axe throwing, escape rooms etc, as well every Friday the team will unwind with a few beers and some games (on-site foosball!) resulting in a tight-knit group. We have an open concept office that allows for a good amount of interaction with our colleagues that enables keeping the workday engaging and fun. The management is very effective at promoting a culture of 'doing the right thing' and upholding strong corporate morals while still being supportive and understanding of their employees, allowing for flexible hours and autonomy with just one rule of "as long as your work gets done" enabling an easy work/life balance.

Cons

building management, the elevator is often down
