Pros
Work was fun and engaging.
Cons
Management on my team was less than ideal. My direct manager barely had it together, and what value he provided for the company was beyond anything I could see. One of his main jobs was to create tickets during our grooming sessions but he rarely followed the conversation to the point where people had to tell him exactly what to type in the ticket descriptions. Literally every other day in standup he would forget to share his screen to run the standup. As far as I could tell, the only work he did was to sit in meetings and/or poorly host other meetings -- and that was about it. This same manager hired a junior developer who had very little understanding of how software works yet who would constantly try to tell everyone what to do. Several other team members would not infrequently get annoyed and frustrated when working with this junior developer, but management never took any action.
