Pros

Pleasant office. Coffee machine. Opportunity to get salesforce certifications. Good place to cut your teeth without much risk. Consultant team are great people to work with as of 2019.

Cons

Zero top down project management. Projects are managed individually which often leads to an imbalance of work, some people are really busy whilst others may have little to do but no one knows where anyone else is up to. Attempts to rectify this have resulted in 2 PMs coming and going in the last year with no lasting legacy. Both PMs were largely ignored and berated by the owners, why hire them if you aren’t going to listen to them? Expected the technical consultants to do all the sales work without any experience or desire from the consultants to be in that role. We were hired as data consultants, not account managers. Relied on repeat business with current customers instead of getting in new customers. Absolute refusal to diversify the product, insistence on relying on work from Informatica so that when the work dried up the company started losing money. When a new member of staff showed off his python database management skills he was told by the CTO “we don’t do that here”. Well apparently; we don’t do anything else here either. Personally I'm not convinced the work did dry up, since when the CTO realised the company was losing money she all of a sudden put a lot of visible effort into getting new customers that she had not been doing over the previous 6 months. High staff turn over, during my time some 20 people came and went, at the time of leaving there were 17 people employed, there's now 6 employees.

Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. I wasn't in the business back in 2019-20 but I can say that the picture you paint bears little ressemblance to Cloud Perspective as it is today. Cloud Perspective still gives everyone opportunities to get Salesforce - and other - certifications. Our consultants are still great people to work with. Now, however, there is, and has been for some time, a strong focus on giving everyone a good experience and on supporting people to develop. Communication has been part of this - sharing business performance with the team, seeking their views and welcoming questions at team meetings. We are actively creating an environment where everyone can thrive and this is founded in listening to our staff. You mentioned the aircon, birds and the bar. These were perhaps not the most important features of your employment, but you might nonetheless be interested to know that those niggles are a thing of the past. We have moved out of the Wigan office and are based in Aston Park (near Stroud in Gloucestershire) and shared space in Ancoats, (Manchester). We still serve good coffee 😊

Pros

- Learning opportunities — I was able to take on a wide variety of roles and grow from a trainee to a senior data consultant. - Exposure to a range of projects and technologies, with chances to lead and perform many project roles. - Supportive and hardworking team — I enjoyed working alongside such talented and friendly colleagues. - Strong communication from leadership — company updates were frequent and motivating, and it always felt like we were part of something successful. - A great environment for new graduates to learn and develop real world experience quickly.

Cons

- At times, the pace and pressure were intense, which could lead to feeling stretched. But it was important to learn to lean on the team when needed because they were always there to help.

Pros

Having spent years in high-performance rugby environments, I know what it takes to build a winning culture—trust, clarity, and genuine care for people. That’s exactly what I’ve found at Cloud Perspective. From day one, it was clear this is a team that puts people first. They create an environment where everyone is valued, supported, and encouraged to perform at their best. It reminds me of the most successful teams I’ve been part of—where culture isn’t just a buzzword, it’s something you feel every day. High Standards, Human Approach Cloud Perspective has high standards and delivers with precision, but what sets them apart is their human touch. They listen, they collaborate, and they make sure both clients and team members feel confident and supported. It’s a culture of excellence built on respect and shared purpose. There’s a great blend of youth and experience in the team, creating a dynamic learning environment where fresh ideas are welcomed and seasoned insights are shared openly. It’s also a safe space to grow—where mistakes are treated as part of the journey, and development is taken seriously. Most importantly, the leadership genuinely wants people to thrive. They’re committed to recognising hard work and rewarding progress, which builds motivation and trust across the whole organisation. Final Word If you want to be part of a team that blends performance with care—and mirrors the best values of elite sport—Cloud Perspective is exactly that. It’s a place where people grow, succeed, and enjoy the journey together. — Rory Teague

Cons

Cloud Perspective has nailed the foundations—what's exciting now is the ambition. With strong leadership and a motivated team, the next chapter will be about scaling impact, nurturing talent, and continuing to stay ahead in a fast-changing space. I’m looking forward to seeing (and being part of) that journey.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a considered review. The parallels you’ve drawn between business and elite sport give us a fresh and interesting perspective to reflect on how we foster our culture. The management team puts a great deal of thought into creating an environment where people feel supported and able to grow. We don’t take for granted that we’re on the right path. While it’s our job to set the tone, how culture is experienced depends on everyone’s contribution, so we’re grateful for your insights and your thoughts on how to nurture the culture as we grow . As we bring in more new team members, we know we must keep investing in our people and nurturing a culture that allows talent to thrive. Your review is a powerful reminder of the huge importance of leadership development, clarity of purpose, and learning together. Thank you for being part of our journey.
