Pros
Company paid for lunches on Fridays.
Cons
When I worked at Closed Loop Recycling there were about ten "interns". There were only a handful of people in the entire office that had identified roles. Everyone else was basically cheap labor for whatever tasks the CEO could come up with. The Friday meetings were used to dish out the different chores that needed to be done. On top of that, tasks that were incredibly important one day would be thrown to the wayside the next. My workspace was a single small table in an office that was shared with two other people. I had to supply my own laptop. The CEO had a major superiority complex and I would often see him getting into heated arguments with one of the other senior employees. After a month of putting in just as much work (if not more) as the other interns, I was fired out of the blue. I was never given a reason beyond "You're not a good fit for the company". What was at first a cool opportunity to be able to work in a green company quickly ended up being the worst employment experience I've ever had. I would NOT recommend this company to anybody.
