Pros

A few of the pros of the company are: Christmas bonus was decent, as was the party. PTO was 13 days for anyone below 5 years. (Not exactly great, but not horrible) When I was there it was almost impossible to get fired? Certain team members are wonderful people.

Cons

Development tended to be a bit of a mess and there was quite a bit of siloing in the organization. VERY against WFH. To the point where if you WFH and live in Chicago, you'll be somewhat looked down on. Pay is not on par with market rate/MRP. Very chintzy when it came to salary, but had no problem running up large tabs to wine and dine. Nowhere to go as it's a small, flat organization. Mentoring is non-existent and management tended to be pretty good about closing ranks. (Excluding founder). Nepotism was pretty bad too. Individual with zero experience but had family ties would crash servers on a weekly basis and wasn't replaced with competency, but when you're not mentored, and have little experience, it's to be expected. Things are swept under the rug or they turn a blind eye to them. That might have changed but I wouldn't expect it to.
