Pros

Great benefits and good pay! 401k matching and 50% commuter reimbursement. Unfortunately, this is not worth having to suffer through this place.

Cons

People leave because of bad culture, bad product and bad leadership. Keep in mind when reading these reviews that anything prior to 2016 is from a different company entity (Clinovo) and has nothing to do with the current company or leadership. The only good review recently was written by the CEO to offset the negative review written right before. - Negative, toxic culture. Colleagues gossip and there is no "Team". - Location is terrible. Tent City and drug deals if you need to walk home through the tenderloin - Product is not selling well - Constant turn over. About 8 people gone in 8 months which makes a huge difference when the office is only around 15 people total. No one expects you to survive for long - Animosity between prior employees and new after different leadership took over. - Terrible management (there is none) - Leadership preaches transparency but there is none - No marketing team. Figuring things out as they go. - CEOs ego will ruin the company. His inability to admit when there is something wrong or that he doesn't know everything will not allow the company to progress. Lots of finger pointing and lying. He is a first time CEO and unfortunately has not shown anyone that he knows how to run a company. - Normally a startup is fast and exciting. This place is slow paced and slow to develop product features - People's favorite part of the day is when they get to go home

Pros

ClinCapture is a small but incredibly dedicated team, and that’s one of its greatest strengths. Everyone genuinely cares about the product, the customers, and each other. There’s a strong culture of continuous improvement — whether it’s refining internal processes, enhancing the software based on real user feedback, or finding better ways to support customers. Ideas are welcomed, collaboration is encouraged, and you truly feel like your contributions matter. It’s rewarding to work alongside people who are invested not just in building technology, but in creating meaningful, positive experiences for the teams who rely on it.

Cons

Like many small (in terms of employees, not impact nor capability) companies, resources can sometimes feel stretched — but leadership is transparent and actively working to improve.

Pros

Amazing place to be if you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and building something important. This is a company that is quickly heading someplace special. If you are hard working, motivated and see the company's success as your own you will definitely thrive here. The company is making all the right moves that other start ups fail to make. The business model has evolved to successfully monetize the product, the company is focused on developing the right industry partnerships and most importantly they are investing in the software (in the right areas)..... The CEO is creative and flexible which allows the company to adapt and the company is successfully leveraging San Francisco's tech "brain-drain" to produce superior technology. (Only private cloud solution of it's kind in the world!!) The company culture is still evolving, but the people are solid: good people who all bring something valuable and unique to the table. Finally, this company understands social responsibility and truly makes a positive contribution to society. ClinCapture offers it's software free of charge for non-profits who are pursuing life saving research into rare "orphan" diseases. To say your work here is meaningful would be an understatement.

Cons

Location is a 20 minute walk uphill from the nearest BART station
