Pros

A great place to work cares about and supports its employees while also challenging them to grow with the company. At these companies, managers and their employees trust and respect each other and have a shared commitment to both individual and company success. Great companies try to meet their employees' financial, mental, physical and emotional needs. As a result, employees are often more productive, satisfied and willing to stay at the company long term.

Cons

Pros

Great mission and a pioneer / tech leader in the field of carbon removal.

Cons

-Founders are first-time CEOs, and you can tell based on some of the sudden hiring and firing decisions they make at a very senior level. The way the company is currently being run feels very novice and fly by the seat of your pants, and senior leaders seem to be in silos. -US pay and benefits are not very good. Turnover is high. The brand name lets them attract talent but they struggle to retain talent. -Lack business focus. Overall, not sure if this company will succeed in its current form. May be ripe for an acquisition. They intend to grow aggressively of in the US while all key decision makers sit in Switzerland - doesn't seem very practical. -Lack an empowered US org structure and leadership. PTO is minimal and no FMLA / family leave / medical leave / sick leave etc is offered in the US. Overall, the company name is exciting, but you may be left hanging. They are quick to re-org, fire newly hired people or eliminate roles. It also remains to be seen if they have the discipline, skill and relationships to make this a successful business in the US. There are other players in the sustainability and carbon removal space that offer better benefits and culture...and probably a better business focus as well.
