Pros
Most of the people at the client level were pleasant, friendly, and helpful. It was a joy working alongside them and being able to be open about opinions, strategies, and potential changes within the company and workplace. They are trying to create SME and career specialty tracks, which is a step in the right direction. This will allow people to have a better say in their career progression even if they can't always control it.
Cons
Pay is under market and you have to make a more than compelling case to get more than a 2-3% raise. Some of the leadership can be petty and hold grudges if you don't toe the party line. They don't often take the time to find the right person for each position(body shop) and it's hard to move up into a management role. Was encouraged to post positive reviews on Glassdoor, which made me uncomfortable.
