Pros

There has been a big transformation in leadership and work culture in the last few years. Senior leadership has put a lot of thought into establishing the core values and vision for the company. Silos have been broken down and there is much better communication and coordination across the organizational units. Career growth and promotions are available to all based on contribution and potential rather than seniority or friendships. There is a much better rewards and recognition program in place now that has full transparency across teams which results in much fairer distribution of rewards to employees. There has also been a concerted effort to understand and improve employee engagement and satisfaction. This has led to some good changes for employees in areas such as career growth, remote work, and benefits. The company is starting to emerge as a strong leader in the healthcare IT market. We have always had good technology but needed help in terms of improving our ability to deliver on a large scale. Leadership has made big investments in resources, technology, and tools which are starting to pay off. Projects are having a lot more success and we have a lot of client appreciation coming our way of late. I think CNSI is poised for serious growth in the market - at least in Medicaid/Medicare space and maybe other areas.

Pros

CNSI is a company that is positioning itself for greatness through our innovation, people, and clients. 2020 has been a trying year for many companies: massive layoffs, maxed out time off for those whose health was affected by COVID-19, etc. Yet CNSI's senior leadership team rose to the occasion and put in place processes to not only address business continuity but to ensure that all employees who needed additional sick time were granted it. Many companies adopted robust work from home policies but as businesses began to reopen those organizations scaled-down the option to work remotely - but not us; we allowed anyone who had the desire to continue to work from home to do so. Our adoption of a flexible work from home policy not only enhanced our employee engagement but helped us to attract top talent. When unrest settled across the US and the world concerning the tragic and unjustified loss of life of people of color, our CEO (like so many others) spoke out against hate and inequity. It is easy to lead with words, but our CEO (who joined CNSI two years ago) led with action and immediately established policies, processes that reinforced a culture that cares about everyone independent of the things that have divided us as a country for far too long. CNSI is not perfect, but each day we are closing the gap in our journey to get there!

Cons

We need to adopt the same innovation and creativity internally as we do with our clients.
