10yI'm sorry that you felt that upper/senior management does not understand the process or conviction that it takes to be in the field. With being in the field, updates and assignments usually come in, in the early morning, which is why the techs are updated on the early morning call. This is something that is discussed during the hiring process to ensure that our field service techs understand the process on finding out about work and location for the day. Of note, its important to know that our upper management in service were once Field Service Techs as well and do understand the hardship that not knowing where you will be assigned until morning can cause, but until the customers let us know where and whatis needed, we cannot assign our techs to specific sites.
