Great company - Group Manager Clever Chefs Employee Review

Fairly decent pay (when their books allow for wages to actually be paid)

Poor management, little to no communication skills. C level management completely out of touch with reality

None that are worth mentioning.

The whole company from the top down are just a bunch of con artists. They say their food is locally sourced on all the Facebook pages and pitches to potential clients and that it is nutritious etc. Wrong wrong wrong tomatoes from Spain carrots from China herbs from Morocco an endless list. The group chef struggles to cook an egg spends more time away getting his hairline sorted out very embarrassing gone from bold to a head of hair very vain like the owner and his fake brows . The senior management are completely clueless to what is happening at sites. Do not use these con artists they promise the world but won’t deliver. I have never seen such high prices in schools £2.25 for a sausage roll that costs 33p from suppliers. £2.35 for a panini as a parent this is not acceptable seems like this money is going straight to the owner and senior managements car collection and hair line in certain peoples cases. Been in the industry close to 30 years and would not recommend this company to anybody I would rather send my children in with packed meals to ensure food safe to eat no allergen procedures in place they had EHO and trading standards all over them for there lack of basic procedures. Please avoid only a matter of time before a series incident/death due to there negligence.
