Employees are willing to help each other to make sure jobs are done right and safely. Workforce is very experienced. There are opportunities for career advancement.
Cons
Cyclical nature of mining increases the possibilities for layoffs. Most jobs outside of Cleveland (ie corporate) are located in rural areas far from cities larger than 10,000 people.
