Pros
The pay is good, the hourly folks are decent, and the maintenance guys (hourly) are top notch - very skilled shifters and day guys. Maintenance, Environmental, the Paper Machines and the Power House are good departments - avoid the others.
Cons
The management group constantly feels like they need to burn somebody just for the sake of burning them. Most managers (Superintendents and above) are out for themselves and do not care who they step on to advance. They also lack integrity and are very childish. Upper management preaches culture change but they are hollow promises. Because everyone is trying to advance there is no management unity which leaves Shift Supervisors lost not truly knowing what their orders are for the day or how they should be preforming their job. Worst Papermill I've worked at in my 15 year Papermill career - avoid at all costs.
