Pros

There are so many fantastic, talented, and nice people that work here. The culture of the company from several years ago is clearly still present in this regard, but most of the only things that are good about Clearlink are the people and culture from before the new ownership took over. The office IS pretty nice, but being forced back in with little notice isn't. That's not what I was hired to do. Plus almost everyone I talked to is more productive at home. Also, no one comes in so there's this massive office that's about a quarter full at best. If there is any reason the company stays afloat past the next few years, it will be because of specialists who are extremely knowledgeable and doing far more to impact the business than any of the executives.

Cons

James Clarke is rapidly destroying a company that had a really bright future. I saw myself working there for several years with potential growth opportunities. In the span of 4 months that all changed and led to my decision to look elsewhere. Disregarding James' deranged speech from the town hall not that long ago, the company is slowly removing benefits such as half day Fridays, remote work, and others after very clearly stating that they had no plans to require a return to office. They've violated all trust, and that doesn't come back easily (no matter how many cupcakes you hand out in the office). Upper management has decided to punish aspects of the business that are doing well due to an outdated business model predictably under-performing. James Clarke also seems to think that recent lack of performance is due to the people at the company working from home or devoting their time to being parents, rather than the fact that several manager positions haven't been back-filled (in multiple cases teams ran for over a year without a manager). I could go on, but more than anything avoid this company like the plague as long as current leadership is still involved.

Pros

-Uber Eats Vouchers/Vouchers for food on campus -PTO hours are added every week

Cons

Clearlink went from a CEO that didn’t give a single care about the employees to new leadership that seems to care now but with that, I feel like the new people aren’t aware of what’s really going on. When you’re hired here, boy, do they sell you the dream! Everything is good, and slowly you start to lose hope & very quickly you learn this company is going downhill one way or another. I was part of the social team for years. We were promised growth and new opportunities and that NEVER happened. We’d bring up concerns about leadership in our individual team and the concerns were NEVER taken seriously, because as I easily learned, this company is like high school, they will protect their friends even if it means losing a brand partner. The higher ups will have random meeting to talk about the department & there’s specific higher ups who feel the need to show off their Disney trips/cruises while some of us are struggling to even keep up with bills and living paycheck to paycheck. Overall, there’s A LOT of broken promises on growth. Pay sucks and it’s hard to get a pay raise. Any concern you bring to a higher up will leave you ignored or they won’t do anything about it. Your career won’t grow here unless you’re BFFs with higher ups that have been there forever.
