Pros

Fully remote, able to work from anywhere with your laptop.

Cons

Too many to list. The Claims org has gone downhill over the last 2-3 years, but recently that downhill decline has intensified. Toxic culture. Leadership is out of touch with the work an adjuster needs to be able to do to be successful. AI is the focus, people are no longer a priority. The leadership team has turned claims adjusters into call center reps. Employees are leaving in droves and HR does not seem to actually pay attention to the answers given in exit interviews. If I could have given 0 stars, I would.

Pros

Fully Remote Flexibility Great team members

Cons

When I first started, everything was wonderful. Snack boxes, unlimited PTO and flex Fridays. With growth, things changed, but, working there was still wonderful. In the last year, work became unbearable. I watched my peers leave 1 by 1 and each of them left for other roles, not because they were ready to go, but because they were forced out by a leader who lacked the ability to appreciate the front line employees and created a new definition for micromanaging. Removing the flexibility for adjusters and creating a call center like environment. Belittling the work done by employees. The worst part is that not only did I give my honest opinion about the reason for my leave, others did as well. Nothing has been done. What you read about Clearcover Claims is true. When interviewing with them, make sure you question the culture and hold the interviewer accountable for the answers.
