Pros
I've worked at Clear Measure for the last 7 years. There have been ups and downs, as with any job and/or business. But the overwhelming factor that keeps me here is the people. I love the team I work with, and I genuinely enjoy coming to work every day.
Cons
The primary con is that we haven't grown a ton in the last 7 years. We've found an equilibrium, which isn't necessarily bad, but business need to grow. We have a wealth of expertise in Software Architecture and tend to have clients that require short-term engagements with an architect, but the bulk of the development is still handle by our client's own development teams. I think that is a very cool service we offer, but it doesn't lead to growth. We don't typically build large teams to develop applications for our clients (although we certainly can), we just tend to take on a higher level role offering design, guidance, mentorship, and bootstrapping.
