Best job I've ever had - Web Developer Clear Com Media Employee Review

Clear Com has helped me extend my scope of knowledge massively through the couple of years I've worked there. I've been repeatedly given the opportunity to learn new skill sets and expand my knowledge of what I already knew. There is a lot of freedom given when it comes to approaching new projects which can lead to huge growth. A great thing about expanding your knowledge is management will see that through their regular review process and follows through with their statement of "the more you're capable of the more you'll earn". When I first heard that I assumed it was just smoke, but it wasn't. When it comes to development, it truly feels like working as a team. Problems or plans are discussed as a team with everyone contributing their opinion. Lastly, I do want to say that Clear Com Media has some of the best web designers I have ever seen. I'm constantly blown away by their work and it feels great to implement their designs.

It is a small development team, meaning if you're stuck on something that's new to the team, you might not have someone who just knows the answer through experience ( although that is still often the case ). The upside to this is the team has no problem sitting with you to figure it out together. Another big issue is islands of knowledge as other reviews here have stated. The company does acknowledge this and is working hard to combat this issue.
