Pros

I've been working for Clean Bees for a few months now, I was supposed to be a cleaner and realized after a couple of weeks that my body can't handle as much physical work as it used to, my last job really overextended my capabilities for a long time. When I broke this news to Katie, she listened to me with compassion and understanding, and we figured out another role for me in the company. Katie is a superb boss and the office staff is just as lovely and so wonderful to be around. I will miss being at Clean Bees when I move to Oregon soon! I highly recommend working for this company, while I can't handle as much physical exertion anymore after years of working, it is a terrific job for those who can handle it and it is really fun! Everyone on staff is so sweet and fun to be around, and it is really a wonderful opportunity if it works for you. Long live the clean!

Cons

For me personally, just the physicality, but that is based on how stretched thin I have become from years of manual labor, retail, food, etc. It's also great for working out and getting paid for it!

Pros

Clean bees is a really great local company! The owner and office staff do a good job overall with managing everything. They do their best to take care of the employees (open kitchen that always has drinks, food, tea and coffee for us) and give PTO based on your performance. All of the supplies you need are kept at the office and are well-maintained which makes work easier. They also always have little snacks we can take with us out into rhe field. I have never experienced such a thorough training program and I had another career before starting this job. The work day goes by fast and the job keeps me physically active. I do my work, often times listening to music and audio books, and then I go home without a care and rest/pursue my creative hobbies.

Cons

You have to use your own car which could be problematic for some. The commute day to day varies and you only get reimbursed for mileage between houses (not for your first house of the day). Some may find this frustrating. The job is hard work and you can expect to be sore, especially during the first few months. You definitely should not take this job if you do not enjoy cleaning and are not looking for physically intense work. You should expect to be exhausted some days (a pro for some, a con for others). Some may not be able to roll with the punches which is part of doing field work. The short time frames and quality expected for the job may be stressful for some.
