Pros

In my personal experience, absolutely none.

Cons

Where do I start?!?! The below review is based solely on my personal experience at Class People: This company is a horrific company to work for. You aren’t respected at all and are just seen as another body in which they can squeeze every ounce of happiness out of in order to make money! They will say that it’s ‘not an easy role’ which is contradictory as the role itself would be a breeze if you weren’t constantly belittled and ridiculed in front of a whole office of colleagues! The management team do not know how to run a company and get involved in every little aspect of the business. This usually involves coming in at around 9am only to shout at the whole team/specific individuals about ridiculous KPI’s that they pluck from thin air. The owner will also let you know daily that ‘she has been doing this for 20 years’ daily to justify her temper. You will be ridiculed every Monday morning in a ‘kickoff’ which is meant to be a meeting with the aim of motivating and kick starting the week but does quite the opposite and drains every ounce of motivation from you! You can then look forward to a ‘Washup’ at the end of the week whereby you are shouted at for the slightest and most irrelevant factors. No matter how much money you bill for this company, it is not reciprocated in your commission and you will be paid minuscule amounts, that’s if you even hit the ridiculous commission thresholds in the first place! The owner and Management are just completely unsupportive and make you feel stupid when asking questions. This company is the reason family and business shouldn’t mix. They often have arguments in front of the whole office which creates a hostile and quite frankly awkward environment to work in. They also have a horrific tendency to just cut you loose and use the ‘probation period’ as a way around this. The ‘Head of recruitment’ is the company’s loyal dog and will go behind your back at any opportunity to please his masters! I trusted him with information on numerous occasions that I didn’t want sharing and quickly learnt that this was a huge mistake. I felt no support and had to virtually teach myself the role. The whole management team are Narcissists and only care about their own pockets being lined with money that you have billed. The team changes every 3-6 months due to people leaving and this is a real shame as I had worked with some amazing colleagues in my very short time at Class People. Just an awful experience all round for me personally. Please do appreciate that my experience may be different to yours, this reflects my personal experience.

Pros

During my time at Class People, I always felt supported and listened to. Management were approachable and consistently available to offer guidance or suggestions when needed. They showed a genuine commitment to professional development, and I really appreciated their approach of, “if you want to try something, we’ll back you in it.” That mindset created an open, trusting culture where new ideas were encouraged and individuals were given room to grow and take ownership of their work. It was a truly positive and empowering environment to be part of.

Cons

The biggest challenge I found was striking the balance between commercial interests and doing what felt fair, particularly when working with candidates who didn’t always share the same commitment to the company’s values. It’s part of the nature of the industry, but it could occasionally make decision-making more complex.

Pros

Good team of consultants who sadly eventually leave

Cons

Cold hearted individuals who put their own needs before anything else/team member. They don't lead from front and is very much a do as I say/not as I do. They come across as specialists online when realistically it is all show and eventually the ship will sink.
