Pros

During my time at Class People, I always felt supported and listened to. Management were approachable and consistently available to offer guidance or suggestions when needed. They showed a genuine commitment to professional development, and I really appreciated their approach of, “if you want to try something, we’ll back you in it.” That mindset created an open, trusting culture where new ideas were encouraged and individuals were given room to grow and take ownership of their work. It was a truly positive and empowering environment to be part of.

Cons

The biggest challenge I found was striking the balance between commercial interests and doing what felt fair, particularly when working with candidates who didn’t always share the same commitment to the company’s values. It’s part of the nature of the industry, but it could occasionally make decision-making more complex.

Pros

Good team of consultants who sadly eventually leave

Cons

Cold hearted individuals who put their own needs before anything else/team member. They don't lead from front and is very much a do as I say/not as I do. They come across as specialists online when realistically it is all show and eventually the ship will sink.

Pros

When I was there, there were some members of the team who were great...but they had sense and didn't stick around for long.

Cons

This review is based on my personal experience and is intended to give an honest view of what it was like working at Class People. When I first joined, the team came across as welcoming and supportive, but this unfortunately changed quite quickly. Once targets and sales came into focus, I often felt singled out as underperforming, even when my results were strong. In my experience, male colleagues tended to receive more recognition, while women who exceeded targets were overlooked. It also became clear that management showed favoritism and allowed inappropriate comments to be made in the office, which created a very uncomfortable environment. Leadership was another major challenge. Promises of support often weren’t followed through, and at times it felt as though information was being misrepresented to protect certain people at the top such as their loyal lap dog who hates them one minute but will hump their leg the next. Professional boundaries were not always respected (touching in office), and overall, management style came across as unprofessional and unsupportive. Support for staff wellbeing was non existant. With the exception of one colleague who genuinely cared, there was very little understanding or flexibility when people were going through personal challenges. The work/life balance was also very difficult to maintain due to the on-call phone system. Calls would come through extremely early in the morning or late at night, and there was an expectation that all calls should be answered regardless of the time. The commission structure was discouraging. Targets were set so high that achieving them — and therefore earning commission — felt almost impossible. The office culture also added to the stress, with frequent arguments and raised voices that made the workplace feel hostile rather than collaborative. Employee turnover was extremely high. In less than a year, I saw more than 10 people join and leave, which says a lot about the culture and how staff felt about working there. In summary, I found Class People to be an unsupportive and unhealthy place to work. While there were a few good individuals, the overall culture was negative, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a respectful and professional environment.
