Pros

• Feedback: The company was always open to receiving feedback and generally attempted to make changes because of it. As an employee, we were also allowed opportunities to receive feedback in multiple ways. • Company Culture: Encouraged and empowered people to show up as their authentic selves. From parenting to having bad days, mentally - they were supportive. • Benefits: Remote Work allowed me to work from anywhere which was helpful. Unlimited PTO was amazing and they actually wanted you to take days off to rest and care for yourself or your family. Health benefits were great as well. PD stipend was great. • The People: Always willing to help, always willing to teach, always willing to collaborate. Everybody was genuinely nice, helpful, and easy to connect with.

Cons

• Lack of Transparency: There were obviously some executive decisions made that impacted the company greatly, leading to laying off half the company. I wish that there was more transparency about finances so people would be more prepared for what was coming. • Lack of Accountability (DEI): They talk a lot about their focus on DEI initiatives but did not really hold people accountable for attending sessions/conversations about DEI. •Constant Change in Priorities: It can be difficult to prioritize as there is always something changing or new processes being built as they go

Pros

Working on a product that is helping teachers teach and student learn Unlimited PTO

Cons

Classkick, oh Classkick. The dwindling of their once-thriving team from over 75 to a mere 11 stands as a testament to leadership's questionable decisions. The recent layoffs (there have been three in just over a year!) are just the latest symptom of a leadership team that seems more interested in preserving their egos than in steering the company towards success. The lack of transparency surrounding the layoffs left many of us in the dark, and the remaining team members are now burdened with an even heavier workload. It's clear that the current leadership is out of touch with the reality on the ground. Morale has plummeted. Many are quietly exploring other opportunities. The company's trajectory is alarming and it's disheartening to witness since it used to be such a vibrant and inspiring place to work.
