Pros

Great Dev and QA team collaboration or it was until they rolled out the E2E process. Hours are flexible but you always end up working more than 40 hrs a week because of tight deadlines. Benefits are good.

Cons

Claris was great when I first started. Loved it but when they hired 2 new managers (MK and EB) all that changed. They rolled out their E2E process which has some serious issues. When this was pointed out to the CEO he acknowledged the issues it would cause but dismissed my concerns and went with it anyway. Issue was that it would slow down the development process and increase my workload and introduce bugs in the software. As we are always on an extremely tight schedule because our CEO makes promises to clients without understanding the scope of the work this was a disaster waiting to happen. I waited to write my review to see if my prediction came true and had it confirmed by colleagues who departed for similar reasons. Major delays in the release and lots of new bugs introduced. The stress caused my blood pressure to go sky high and it was literally killing me. Think 180 / 110 - Stroke level. Thank God I left and it lowered. Hr was not much help either. Saw colleagues who were reported to HR for “Non Compliance”. One manager in particular would use HR as a hammer to force compliance if anyone questioned their E2E process. Never have I worked at a company where HR was used in this manner. Until those managers are removed I would not recommend working here.

Pros

Company is positioned well and actively pursuing initiatives to continue scaling its market share. Leadership at times van be vague, but there is no question all who work here want the company and product to succeed. PTO and holiday allowance are very generous, and growth opportunities are ever present if you actively engage and request responsibilities.

Cons

There are a handful of teams that seasonally may get burdened with heavier workloads. Understandably, this company is very cyclical and closing a couple of bigger clients may bring with it a good amount more work. Overall, though, I do feel that we are staffed properly for the current and foreseeable season.

Pros

There is no distinct benefit to working at ClarisHealth compared to anywhere else that will pay you.

Cons

Just one of the most superficial and toxic cultures I've ever been in. The leadership is terrible at their job, but refuse to either step aside or improve, instead sticking around to mislead the company through waves of self-induced layoffs. Also professionally very, very stagnant. Anybody who can get a job elsewhere goes for it, especially if they are top quality. We've lost a lot of the best analysts and such because they see how poorly run the company is and go elsewhere, same for a lot of other roles.
