Pros
Smaller, relatively entrepreneurial company; provided good opportunity to learn a great deal about the Manhattan real estate market and development. Their fund is structured such that Clarett can invest in nearly any type of deal that looks feasible (office/hotel/residential/etc.). In general, a good group of people and friendly work environment.
Cons
Oftentimes a lack of organization and communication from senior management to employees. As an associate, there seemed to be a significant amount of wasted effort (seemingly pointless analyses for deals that obviously would never come to fruition, etc.).
